About Steve Nave
Steve Nave joined Walmart.com in September 2000 as a member of the Finance team, responsible for setting up the accounting/controls and budgeting functions for the company. He then spent two years as the Controller before being promoted to Vice President & Chief Financial Officer. In early 2006 he added the Supply Chain/Logistics function to his responsibilities and was promoted to Chief Operating Officer. As COO, Steve has focused on strategies to scale Walmart.com’s back-end operations to support the firm’s long-term growth projections, while continuing to ensure the controlled, profitable growth of the division. He has responsibility for a team of over 400 people located in California, Arkansas, and Mississippi.
Steve is from Tulsa, Oklahoma and earned his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Oklahoma State University. He lives in Menlo Park, California with his wife, Rachel, and their daughter.
