WCNC Event Cancellation/Refund Policy

WCNC EVENT REGISTRATION CANCELLATION POLICY:

Event registrations may be cancelled up to one week prior to the event, unless otherwise stated in the event posting. Cancellations made prior to the deadline will result in a fee of $10 or 20% of the registration fee, whichever is greater. Cancellations made after this deadline will result in the forfeiture of the registration fee.

Note: a registrant may always find a replacement to attend the event in his or her place at any time; the original registrant need only change the RSVP name on the ticket. (This can be done under "My Account" on the upper right hand corner of the WCNC web page, "My RSVPs" tab.) The registrant will be responsible for obtaining any reimbursement of the registration fee from the replacement attendee.

The rationale for the cancellation policy is that the Club incurs real costs both in
(1) money paid to our bookkeeper to reconcile our financials and transaction records, and
(2) volunteer time spent processing and tracking the refunds for our bookkeeper as well as modifying registration information for event registration.
