Please join the Wharton Club of Northern California for a wine and chocolate pairing showcasing the best of European chocolates and California wines. Each of the five chocolate and wine pairings was carefully selected to tantalize your taste buds. The chocolates were hand-chosen by Neal Bram, owner of Bella Cabosse (formerly Chocolate Sophisticate ), and the wines were matched by a team of experts, including the owner of Vino Locale, our host for the event. The event price also includes light hors-d'oeuvres and a bar of premium chocolate to bring home.

Event Fee: $40 Current Alumni Club members and their accompanied guests. $60 Non-Member alumni and other guests.
Registration deadline: Monday, December 4th, 12:00pm. After that date, based on availability, tickets will be $50 for members and $70 for non-members. The WCNC's standard cancellation policy applies for this event.

Vino Locale has been our dream for many years. The idea of specializing in local wines came about after traveling to the wine regions of Italy and France where, when visiting a certain region, local wines are proudly featured in the wine stores and wine bars. Santa Clara county and the Santa Cruz Mountains have a rich history of producing world class wines, yet finding these wines in stores and restaurants can be a challenge.
The wines we carry are predominantly from Santa Clara County and the Santa Cruz Mountains, with a few from neighboring Alameda and San Mateo. Most of the wines are made from grapes grown on the winery's estate, and most are family owned. We feature a different wine each month with special pricing for our Wine Club Members, "meet the winemaker" tastings and other promotional events.
