Join us on Thursday, January 4th, and discover one of San Francisco's hottest new spots lauded for its "sophisticated sex appeal" by 7x7 magazine and a classy ambiance that is perfect for mixing and mingling with classmates and making new friends in the city.
The Bon Apetit magazine rated Oola as one of the "hot 50 top spots around the country", 7x7 magazine described its cocktails as "well worth the hangover". Other publications such as Specialty Foods Magazine and the SF Chronicle have also featured rave reviews for Oola.
A native of Sweden, the owner and executive chef, Oola Fendert was executive chef at Plouf, Chez Papa and Baraka, some of San Francisco's top restaurants.
Oola will personally craft an array of his signature dishes into appetizers for our enjoyment...and they will be made fresh and trayed through the night between 6pm and 8pm! Oola's large and elegant bar featuring a wide selection of old and new world wines and fine liquors will be available exclusively to us for the duration of the happy hour.

No admission charge for visiting students or for current Club members and their spouse/significant other.
$10 charge for guests and non-member Wharton alumni. For non-member Wharton alumni, we will also be able to renew your membership at the door.
Oola is located in South of Market, on Folsom Street, between 4th and 5th, close to the Moscone Center. There are parking lots on the corner of 4th Steet and Folsom, as well as on the corner of 5th Street and Folsom. There is also a smaller parking lot directly opposite Oola on Folsom Street, and valet parking is available, too.
