It's time to reconnect with friends at the Wharton Club of Northern California's 2006 Summer BBQ! Your friends will be lunging at frisbees and savoring a summertime BBQ meal. If you are new to the Bay Area or the Club, our Summer BBQ is the ideal place for meeting friends new and old from Wharton.

Bring your family to our BBQ, too--we will have activities for adults and children alike! We'll have frisbees, great food, and--in a repeat from last year--a handful of Segways for the adults to try out and have fun with! Our thanks to Wharton Club Board Director Barbara Bissell-Howell for her generous sponsorship that makes the Segways available for our enjoyment!

Wharton Club Summer BBQ: Activities & Lunch at Coyote Point Park

Event Fee
• WCNC Members, their spouse/significant other, or for Wharton summer interns: pre-register by 5pm Wednesday, August 9th at $10 per adult; $5 for children 10 and over; and children 9 and under are FREE (but please register them so that we know how many people to order food for.)
• Registrations after 5pm Wednesday, August 9th: $15 per adult, $10 per children 10 and over; children 9 and under are free.
• Price does not include a $5 per vehicle entry fee to the park.

Wharton Club members, summer interns, and their families only for this event--i.e., at least one Club member per family group. Non-member alumni must renew their membership for this event--i.e., non-member alumni can't piggyback on other alumni who are members. The Club is subsidizing this event for our members through Club funds and a sponsorship--the actual cost of this is substantially in excess of the $10 per person member fee. Details
• Use of the park area from 11:00am until 4:00pm.
• We will have a delicious catered barbequed meal starting around 12:00pm--food arrangements will be made for both carnivores and vegetarians!
• Be sure to bring a few beach blankets or towels with you, too!

Directions
When coming to Coyote Point from the north (San Francisco), use Highway 101 South. Take the Poplar Avenue exit. Turn right onto Humbolt until Peninsula Avenue. Turn right onto Peninsula Avenue. Go over the freeway, and then circle around and into the Park.

When coming to Coyote Point from the south (San Jose), use Highway 101 North. Take the Dore Avenue exit. Immediately turn left onto North Bayshore Boulevard. Turn right onto Coyote Point Drive to the park.
