AN INSIDE VIEW OF THE 2024 BAY AREA HOUSING MARKET
Tuesday, March 19, 2024
It was just January 2024. Already seen multiple offers with $1M over the asking price??
Join us in a myth-busting look beyond the headlines for an inside view of the current housing market, and where it’s headed in 2024 and beyond. This interactive discussion will be led by our alumnus Robert Purnell, WG’92.
In the Bay Area, real estate commands an outsized share of our attention and resources. For most people, it’s the largest line item on their balance sheets. But a constant barrage of often conflicting headlines and misinformation creates an atmosphere of uncertainty and doubt among consumers and homeowners, leading many to hesitate to act when they should, and others to act irrationally for fear of missing out.
During this event, we will look at the macro and micro data, the rapidly shifting psychology driving market behavior, the real impact of interest rates on pricing and sales, the pending litigation roiling the industry, and tips on navigating today’s market. We’ll have a Q&A at the end and attendees will be given free access to a proprietary market tracking tool.
