We are excited to present the following speaker series taking place in July and August:

The series will generally follow this schedule (with changes to the agenda noted week to week
before each event):
12:30-12:45: Students take lunch to-go in Dining Room
12:45-12:50: Transition to Classroom 660
12:50-12:55: Introduction
12:55-1:50: Speaker Talk/Q&A
1:50-2:00: Transition to class
Before each talk, we plan to reach out to solicit questions to seed the Q&A. If you have a strong
interest in a particular speaker, please let us know and we can find a role for you to assist with
the event.
We are very lucky to welcome this amazing slate of speakers whose insights and observations
will enrich your WEMBA experience. We are looking forward to high engagement and robust
discussions when these eminent leaders come to campus to share their stories and their
knowledge with us.

Aditi Roy, WG’12
Aditi Roy is VP, Communications at ONWARD, a
medical tech company that makes devices that help
people impacted by spinal cord injuries move again.
In her role, Aditi tells the story of ONWARD and its
powerful mission through earned, owned, and social
media. She also manages investor relations. Prior to
working at ONWARD, Roy was Head of Content
and Strategy at Sutherland Gold, a strategic
communications firm.
Prior to her work in communications, Roy spent two decades as an Emmy-winning television journalist covering local, national, and business news at outlets including NBC News, ABC News, and CNBC. She also spent several years as an award-
winning anchor and reporter at NBC Philadelphia. During her time in Philly, Roy earned her MBA from the Wharton School of Business, where she currently teaches a communications class to MBA students on how to persuade audiences. Roy also created and co-hosts “Full Stack Food,” a podcast about food and innovation. During her stints as a reporter and anchor, Roy
covered agriculture, restaurants, and food-tech companies, and these experiences stoked her
passion for all things food.
Roy is an avid Cal Bears fan - she graduated from U.C. Berkeley, where she earned a B.A. with high honors in Political Science. She also has master’s degrees in political science from Stanford University and journalism from Columbia University.
Roy lives with her husband and two daughters in the Bay Area.
