Karen Finerman & Jean Chatzky Discuss and Debate the Financial State of the Union
The Wharton Club of Philadelphia and The Wharton Club of Southern California are thrilled to partner and co-host Karen Finerman, a Wharton alum (W ’87), regular on CNBC’s “Fast Money” and co-founder of Metropolitan Capital Advisors, Inc., and Jean Chatzky, a Penn alum (C ’86), long running Financial Editor of NBC’s Today Show, and founder and CEO of digital media company HerMoney.
Karen and Jean will interview each other regarding the financial state of our nation.
Among the topics, they will touch on and address are:
- What the retail investor is doing right now
- Markets broadly
- Financial TV
- The steps you should take in your financial life that free you up to invest
- Women and money
They will also discuss their own personal trajectories since leaving Penn, including how they each ended up on TV, and, in Jean’s case, how a liberal arts major carved out a career in finance. They will also take questions at the end of their interview.
