On November 1, we invite Founders who have formed a legal company to meet with Theron McCollough, MD from Silicon Valley Bank and Gaurav Saraf of Wharton Alumni Angels. They will host Office Hours to answer your questions from startup funding to product market fit.

Theron McCollough, MD - Early Stage Practice
Silicon Valley Bank
As a Managing Director at Silicon Valley Bank, the focus of Theron’s role is to make connections between the SVB office and VC/Startup communities and lead the West Coast Early Stage practice.
He has spent over a decade addressing the behaviors that promote company value and help startups reach strategic goals and increase venture success. As an active investor and entrepreneur, he brings experience operating on many sides of the table.
With abilities at the junction of business development, product management, sales and marketing. And with background in fine art, he has a knack for user centric design and building impactful products.
Theron has been an entrepreneur for over a decade selling his first company in 2010. Following a four year working stint in Europe he worked with Pivotal Software to develop startup engagement, marketing and strategy. Eventually he took on a head of BD, partnerships position.
Following Pivotal, Theron earned his investment stripes as an investor & operator with Acceleprise VC focused on early stage SaaS/B2B startups.
Theron lives in San Francisco and is from Washington State.
Gaurav Saraf
Wharton Alumni Angels
A seasoned product leader, has been leading vision, design, development, and commercialization of next-gen technologies in IoT and consumer electronics for 15+ years. Gaurav has strong expertise in both business and technology and has been advising startups in building strategic partnerships and, developing go-to-market and growth strategies. Gaurav is currently leading his own startup (Olynk Inc.) and, providing strategy and tactical business advice to Tri-Cura (a healthcare startup). Gaurav is also a member of Wharton Alumni Angels.
Advise potential founders on:
- Ideation, market sizing & initial validation (market testing)
- Pitch deck
Provide the early stage startups insights and advise on:
- Product market fit, including market & customer research
- Validation & customer acquisition strategies
- Key product considerations & product challenges
