SAN FRANCISCO FOUNDERS LUNCH
Friday, May 19, 2017
The goal of the SF Founders Lunch is to connect Wharton entrepreneurs in the Bay Area and to foster an environment where we can help each other to establish and grow our businesses. The event is for entrepreneurs at every stage of their business' lifecycle -- seasoned and pre-funded alike.
May 19th, Travis Katz, Co-Founder & CEO of
Trip.com will be joining us to share his journey of starting and running the online travel company which uses "predictive AI technology and personalization [to] make finding and having great experiences, whether local or global, easier than ever."
Trip.com has raised nearly $40m from investors including Battery Ventures, RedPoint and HomeAway.
How you will benefit:
- Connect with fellow entrepreneurs
- Learn from others and their success stories and challenges
- Share, present or pitch your ideas and thoughts in group of peers
Each lunch has space for 16 alumni, current Wharton students or friends of alumni who are actively founding a company or are already on their way. All attendees should come with one thing they would like to ask the other members for help/advice with.
