We invite Wharton Alumni/accredited investors to join us in Palo Alto, CA on November 12 (8AM-6PM) for the 3rd Annual Entrepreneurs Summit.
We are bringing together a select group of angel investors to discuss the "current early stage investment landscape - trends, forces and risks." This discussion is open to active angels and early stage investors and will take place during the Entrepreneurs Summit. The purpose of the meeting is to share thoughts, ideas and start building a more active and valuable network of Wharton alumni investors that can come together to advise startups and make investments. We are starting as an informal group and are in the process of formalizing a Wharton Alumni angel investment group based out of Northern California (Wharton Angels of San Francisco/Silicon Valley) interested in investing in massive growth market opportunities along with leading angel groups, syndicates, and venture firms. We would welcome your thoughts and participation. While Wharton Angels of San Francisco/Silicon Valley will be independent and not managed by the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, it will seek to align itself with all Penn/Wharton entrepreneurship initiatives and resources and create a bridge for Penn/Wharton entrepreneurs into the SF/Silicon Valley ecosystem.
Organized by a programming committee composed of Wharton Alumni, the Entrepreneurs Summit caters to serious entrepreneurs, investors, advisors and innovative corporate partners seeking opportunities in massive growth markets such as big data, robotics, industrial internet, IOT, personalized medicine, EdTech, FinTech, and more. We've assembled an outstanding lineup of nearly 30 industry leaders for 8 expert panels and 6 interactive small group workshops.
