SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES – LUXURY SUITE WITH PRESIDENT DAVE KAVAL
Sunday, August 2nd 2015 [SOLD OUT!]
With the US women’s team winning the World Cup on July 5th 2015, it puts
a renewed spotlight on the game of soccer in the US. The Wharton Club of Northern California along with the Harvard Club invite you and your guests for a unique glimpse into the growing business of Major League Soccer (MLS). From a luxury suite in Avaya Stadium, which opened March 2015, we’ll have a chalk talk with Dave Kaval, President of the San Jose Earthquakes.
Avaya Stadium is in the forefront of using social media and advance
technology when engaging fans during the game. Since joining the
Earthquakes in 2010, Dave has overseen both the business and technical
side of the business. The club has seen significant growth in ticket
sales, merchandising, and sponsorships under his tenure. Breaking a
club record in 2012 with 50,391 fans attending the Earthquakes vs. Galaxy game at Stanford stadium.
You will have access to the stadium at Noon on Sunday August 2nd. The chalk talk will begin at 1:00pm in the suite. Lunch will be provided during the chalk talk. Kick-off between the San Jose Earthquakes and Portland Timbers will be at 2:00pm.
This will be a great opportunity to meet fellow Wharton and Harvard alumni in the area. Also take the time to enjoy a warm summer day at the largest outdoor Bar in North America. With over 45 beers on tap just steps away from the field.
