About the Wine Tasting
When it is cold and wet outside, there is nothing better than a warm, cozy setting, friends, and a big glass of full-bodied red wine. Oh yes, there is something better -- tasty hors d'oeuvres to match, prepared by Brent Bushong, trained culinary master from French Laundry, Gary Danko and Michael Mina! Indeed, we are fortunate to have the Maitre d' of Michael Mina (and former cook/sommelier) hand-crafting our food pairings to perfectly match an assortment of interesting reds. So if you have been trying to get reservations at one of the hottest new restaurants in town to no avail, Brent is the man to know! Meet him before he becomes the next uber-restauranteur of San Francisco.

About the Wines
We have invited an emerging winery with an interesting and long Napa heritage to share some and teach us the nuances in their enticing versions of Cabernet and Cabernet Franc. In addition, we have invited an established winery to share some new ways to look at Zinfandels and Syrahs. We will present a broad cross section of both reasonably priced and higher end wines to sample.
